Frequently Asked Questions
No prior qualifications are necessary to enroll in our postpartum doula course. However, a birth doula training or equivalent experience is extremely helpful. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are passionate about supporting families during the postpartum period.
The course is an online only session. The online classes take place two Saturdays and twice a week in the evenings for 2 or 3 hours. You will need a computer, quiet place to learn and Zoom.
Not yet. Our postpartum doula course has a pending application for continuing education units to ensure that our curriculum meets high standards of quality and professionalism.
Not exactly. Students will move through some parts of the certification process during the 4-week course. There will be other parts that you can complete at your own pace after the course ends through the certification group (costs $125).
When you enroll, the goal is to receive daily support as you achieve certification as a Certified Professional Postpartum Doula, which is recognized nationally.
Absolutely! Our course provides comprehensive training and practical skills to prepare you for a career as a postpartum doula. Many of our graduates go on to work independently or join doula collectives or agencies to support families during the postpartum period.

Because this is a live, cohort-based training program with limited enrollment, instructor preparation, and digital resource access, our refund policy is structured to protect the sustainability of the program while honoring participant satisfaction.
Refund Eligibility
Refund requests will be considered under the following conditions:
• Requests must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of the official course start date
• Participant must have attended at least one live session
• Participant must submit a written request outlining specific concerns and good-faith participation efforts
• Enrollment must have been purchased at full tuition (no discounts, scholarships, or promotional pricing)
